Center for Strategic Initiatives (CSI) sponsored young talents from Kazakhstan and other countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus to attend the Harvard Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program delivered in Dubai by the Harvard Business School, the South Asia Institute of the Harvard University and the HBS Club of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The program aims to broaden the outlook of the students coming from the underprivileged families and increase their competences in humanities and social sciences as well as hard sciences up to the Harvard standards, and strengthen their motivation and confidence for further education and academic excellence. There are some 70 young talents participating in the program from countries of Africa, the Middle East as well as from our region, Armenia (4), Azerbaijan (1), Kyrgyzstan (4), Kazakhstan (1), and Uzbekistan (2). CSI is committed to increasing the number of quality proposals from Kazakhstan and the region to participate in the program.
CSI adheres to its corporate social responsibility standards and is committed to supporting such initiatives and broadening the horizons for talented youth from all strata of the population.
