Saule has more than 18 years of experience working in public sector, international organizations and development sector. She holds a PhD in international law. Since 2015 Saule has been working in consultancy where she was leading projects implementation teams of big institutional projects funded by World Bank and European Union.
Saule has extensive experience in Government Relations, consulting and negotiations with decision makers of the main state agencies in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Currently she serves as a member of the Commission on human rights under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Coordinating Council of the National preventive mechanism.
Being professionally engaged in law-making, she was a member of the working groups on development of the Criminal Executive Code, draft laws on probation, on national preventive mechanism among others. In 2018, she was awarded the best young legal professional title in the field of legislative activity by the Commission of the First President Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
She is an author of extensive legal researches, scientific articles and various publications. In 2018, she developed her author skills, writing and successfully presenting her book "Status of success: Legal reforms lessons" which was sold out during the first month of sales.
